Exact Match operates a data-driven marketing platform that enables our business clients to develop for their own customers ideal customer profiles ("ICPs") and identify target audiences for marketing and advertising purposes. In providing these Services, we:

• Obtain consumer and business data from third-party data providers, data aggregators, and data brokers.

We collect personal information from and about individuals in several ways:

We process this information on behalf of our clients to generate ICPs and identify matching audience segments. We retain client-uploaded data on the client's portal for the client's continued use. We do not use client-uploaded data for our own purposes.

6.1. Controller versus Processor Roles
Exact Match acts in different capacities depending on the type of personal information involved.
Controller: When we collect personal information directly from you (such as when you visit our Website or create an account), or when we obtain personal information from third-party data providers to power our data platform, we determine the purposes and means of processing and act as a "controller" (or "business" under California law). This Privacy Policy describes our practices when we act as a controller.
Processor/Service Provider: When our business clients upload their own customer data to our Platform for analysis, we process that data solely on behalf of and under the instructions of our clients. We act as a "processor" (or "service provider" under California law) for such data. We retain client-uploaded data on the client's portal for the client's continued use but do not use such data for our own purposes. If you are an individual whose data was uploaded by one of our clients and you wish to exercise your privacy rights with respect to that data, please contact the business that uploaded your information directly.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

As described in Section 4, we disclose personal information to our business clients in the form of audience cohorts and to advertising partners for targeted advertising. We will verify your identity before processing your request. To verify your identity, we may ask you to provide information that matches information we have on file, such as your name, email address, postal address, or other identifiers. For individuals whose information is in our data lake (obtained from third-party sources), we may require you to provide a signed declaration under penalty of perjury that you are the individual whose personal information is the subject of the request. The statement need not be notarized.
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the authorized agent to provide proof of written authorization and may verify your identity directly.
We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days. If we need additional time, we will notify you of the extension and the reason for it. We may take up to an additional 45 days to respond, for a maximum total of 90 days.
8.1.11. California Delete Act
Exact Match is registered as a data broker with the California Privacy Protection Agency. Beginning August 1, 2026, California residents may submit deletion requests through the California Delete Act deletion mechanism at https://cppa.ca.gov/. Until that mechanism is available, you may submit deletion requests directly to us at [email protected].
8.2. Virginia Residents (VCDPA)
If you are a Virginia resident, you have the following rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act ("VCDPA"):
